As the story continues, though, his attitude goes from prideful to humble at the end when he realizes how much he needs Louise like a sail boat needs wind to keep on sailing. Attitude as an adult depends on the situation but one thing that needs to remain constant is to be determine on a set goal or objective. An example of determination from the story is when Louise lost everything due to tragic events but even though these situations arose she became determine to become her woman and less dependent on Christian. Being an adult is more than reaching a certain age is also being determine to become a better-rounded
