What Is The Ethical Value Of The Movie Precious

In general, the film Precious attacks sex, race, and power. From an ethical point of view the film Precious displays situations for many real life victims of physical, social, and verbal abuse. Precious also reinforces the weight of white America shown by power and privilege and how society is favored upon white privilege. Later on in the film when precious breaks away from her crooked home and is able to live her own life, that part is heartwarming. Precious is one of many films in the last couple of years that touches America in some aspect.
