ABSTRACT Many researchers have recommended different strategies for sustainable structures to exploit natural resources more efficiently and moderate the environmental impact of on-site construction. This research presents a creative, sustainable construction approach through an assembly system for eco-friendly materials. Wood is a natural material that is vastly available and easily reproduced in temperate climate zones. Wooden structures offer the opportunity to provide sustainable building through their eco-friendly features and life cycle recycling. These adverse effects can be seen through the use of polluting materials, the massive volume of materials wasted, and the high rate of energy consumed at the construction site. Therefore, the construction sector requires sustainable methods. This shift will push the demand for reusable and recyclable building. Human behavior and occupant needs may change over time, affecting a building 's function. This will lead to demolishing many structures and dealing with energy consumption, unimagined volumes of waste materials, and expenditure on destroying and creating new buildings. Therefore, the environmental impacts of construction are not related only to the method of construction and job site activities. Also, the consequences of structural demolition are addressed.
