After the stock market crash, Americans learned to be more cautious and realistic about the American Dream. With the downfall of the crash, it hurts people 's wallets and their pride. James Truslow Adams believes that after the Great Depression, people need to learn from their mistakes in order to not let history repeat itself, he noted "After a generation has burned its fingers in a crash it becomes cautious and looks at things realistically." (Adams, 3). America continues to face economic hardships, but it continually comes back from those hardships economically, as well as, mentally. The people of 1933 hope to abolish poverty and recreate the American dream. Adams states: "We can recover it (dream) only if we come back to the realities, not simply the realities of political and economic policy, but the realities of human life and values." (Adams, 3). It was analyzed how there is a relationship between the American economy and people 's psychology, what American citizens think about the American Dream and about its realization. Also, there was described Irish and Russian migration to America and their ability to create lives that they would never had in their homelands. People were coming from foreign countries to achieve their American Dreams and they continue arriving to this country till this day. There is no country on earth where you could have such freedom and success as in America, as in the "Land of
