The television version of Macbeth directed by Jack Gold came out in 1983. This film adaption was a great way to understand the play if you weren’t able to understand the reading. The actors chosen to play the characters showed the true colors of them in no other better way. The director also did a good job showing the crowd the visuals you weren’t able to see in the reading. The play begins with the Three Witches and moves on to where King Duncan hears the story of Macbeth’s bravery during the battle. After words Macbeth and Banquo encounter the three witches and that’s when Macbeth hears the prophecy.
