Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn both have positive and negative things about them. Whether it is the way they were raised, types of misbehavior or the rules they have to abide by. They are different in many ways, but actually turn out to be quite alike. They grew together after a while. Tom originally hung out with him because he was told not to. But over time they became good buddies. Tom only has his Aunt Polly. “He is my own dead sister’s boy…” (Ch. 1) Nobody has any idea where his dad is. By the clues in the book,most people think he left them. Huck’s mom also died. “Huckleberry Finn, son of “the town drunk….”(Ch.6) His dad lives in a small bin beat down shack. Huck refuses to go back to his father.
