Although the White Witch and Hitler were both ruthless, cruel rulers, they

ensured their power in different ways. The White Witch secured her power by

using her magic to make it eternal winter. Hitler changed the children’s education

by forcing Nazi ideas in the school books, and oppressing the Enabling Act on the

German citizens.

Although the White Witch is just a character in a book, Hitler was real and killed and

harmed real people. When the White Witch was defeated , the reign of peace was

reestablished. But Europe would never forget the terrifying experience of World

War II.
