In the chapters 1-3 in in the book, Author Rick Miller, gave a detailed insight on the children’s nature of the different age. From the early age children’s are introduced to both positive and negative environment. Parents can try, but there is no such way that any they can plan and provided the only positive environment to their child 's. Children can be influenced by anything. They can shape their children future. Children are follower they see they learn. Anyone can influence them. If they have positive role models in their life they can definitely get successful in their life. I myself have noticed how some one’s words, behavior, thinking can bring changes to other’s thinking. My neighbor’s son had never seen anything else than his parents fighting, over almost any reason, he was a very bright student but slowly his family chaos started to bring changes in his life. He started to follow “bad gang” in the school and started smoking. Later he drops out from the school, I totally got out of contact with him as I migrated to the USA, but last summer my mom told me he was found dead in his apartment due to overuse of drugs. He always taught me family values and their importance in life. He made me strong enough to cope with ups and downs of life. Now I am here alone juggling myself to graduate from college, working, paying bills, but still very happy with my life. Thanks to my dad. One day I will be a Hospital Administrator and make my dad proud.
