Someone who scores high on this scale is constantly wanting to be the center of attention, everything they do is more valuable than others, and they are unable to put themselves in others shoes. In contrast, someone who scores low on this scale is modest, down to earth, is able to relate to others, and selfless. The questions I asked would make a good job in assessing the trait of Narcissism because it asks questions that have the characteristics of someone with narcissism. For instance, a narcissistic has an inflated perception of themselves, they believe they are better than everyone, others problems do not interest them, in other words they are vain and it is all about them. These questions will be able to demonstrate that. Narcissistic trait best fits with extroversion in the Big 5 because people who are extroverted tend to be more outgoing and when in a group of people a narcissistic would like to be in the spotlight. Also, someone who is narcissistic might like to be around people and have their attention and flaunt themselves. Someone who is narcissistic also is more likely to be talkative and may always talk about how great they are and what it is they do that is better than anyone else. This scale could be useful to clinical psychology because it can reveal if someone is narcissistic without having to ask many questions.
