Ismene: Ismene is the sister of Antigone the character from the drama Antigone. Despite initially refusing the request from her sister Antigone to bury their brother, she agrees later and helps her sister in doing so. Burying their brother had been forbidden by Kreon, the king, and by doing this, Ismene stood against the authority. She is doing so because even though she was reluctant, deep down within her she knew that burying her brother was the morally right thing.
