In Germany there were more than 40,000 concentration camps during World War II. The camps were controlled by the Nazis. The nazis were cruel men and they killed most of the Jewish people. If the Jews didn't get killed, then they were being tortured. And that was very common and frequent in the concentration camps. Over 11 million people got killed each year throughout the war. Most of them were children, especially from illnesses and starvation. Most children in the age of 5 were trained to become one of the Nazis. The Nazis would gas anyone who is too weak to do their jobs. Others would get executed by hanging. The main reasons they got hung and not gassed was because they broke the rules or attacked one of the Nazis. The get punished which
