Therefore people suffered, they lost their job, family starve and they were evicted from homes. Farmers from the Prairies are the most affected. They experienced severe droughts in 1931 it caused huge crop failures. Many farmers could not grow crops and families struggled to survive. During the depression more factories and business closed their doors that's why people lost their jobs. Most men were unemployed therefore they will go from one place to another. looking for work for their families. They will hoped on trains on the roof or clasp to the bar.
