Violence is defined as behavior involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something. Violence is everywhere because it is unpreventable. One will never find a place without conflict. The Bronx is known for its violence and gangs roaming the streets. These gangs are mainly composed of children feeling neglected by their families. Due to the lack of feeling belonged, it brings a rise in children joining gangs. Many family units in New York are single parent families with low income and a couple of children which can easily lead to neglect.
