Purpose The goal of all this research is to find what is the cause of bullying. Is the cause of bullying due to the fact that American society has set rules for male and females, or that researches only do their study of the emotions or behaviors that are associated with bullying overall. Taking an indivusalize approach towards causing of bullying gives a better foundation of preventing bullying. Muller did an individualized study based on US adolescents exaiming thier sexuallity, gender and race(Muller ). Her finding of each race, gender and sexuality gave a more in depth pattern. For instance, she found that most white and Hispanic gay and bisexual males are more likely to be bullied than white heterosexual adolescence(Muller ). This gives …show more content…
For example: randomly picking schools of all types and giving students an online survey, where based on their answer generates the next question to ask. Letting the survey being given all over American in the scenes by placing a general understanding of what race, gender, and sexuality is more common in certain areas to get picked on for just being that adolescent.With an individualized approach of the research not only are the result more likely to give usable data, but it is backed up with solid dated, like the Muller study of …show more content…
Their seems to form a base that females are the vulnerable when it comes to the aftereffects of bullying and males are the most common to experience bullying. However, their still needs to be more research into which individual group of people is more at risk to being bullied. Another limitation is the correct definition of what masculinity and femininity is, even with the resource no researcher mention a definition of the two. Also, understanding the environment that adolescents are going through because the research could have been swayed by some of the students being bullied at home and never told about it. Also, looking more in to the way students would want to change the American view of differences being accpted to just doing unsted of saying
