On September 11, 2001, the United States faced the largest terrorist attack since the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City by Timothy McVeigh. The attack of the United States was perpetrated by 19 Muslim extremist, (fifteen of which were from Saudi Arabia) these men hijacked four airplanes, two departing from Boston, American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175, one leaving from Virginia on American Airlines Flight 77 and the final fight departed from Newark on United Airlines Flight 93.
