There are many aspects of the Cold War. One of them is the Arms Race. This is when two countries are stocking up on the weapons during times of non-violence. Arms Race was both a metal and physical battle between The Soviet Union and the United States. This had an effect going into the Korean War. Both countries use their citizen’s money to full this race. Russia had a closed economy which led to a down fall; there people were starving. Both kept trying to outdo each other with more or better weapons. This is a part of the war that commonly gets over look but it is important.
