T-Mobile is good company for discussion. Consumers certainly know the brand and the quality of coverage, but T-Mobile differentiates its product offering by unlimited text, talk which is no hassle for many consumers who do not travel or spend time in the remote areas. T-Mobile still keeps the price competitive and the price discrimination for the similar product reduces consumer surplus. Companies mostly gain with a monopolistic competition or they will exist, but consumer experience no benefits.
