When I was younger my mother and I lived in many places. In fact, when I started preschool I went to a school with all Mexicans but at the time it did not bother me. I had friends who were all kinds of races- Asian, Indian, mixed, all kinds. Not only did I make friends with different races, but who are in different social classes. I feel you should never exclude people or be excluded because of your money or who your parents are. Being around different people has made me a well-rounded and less judgmental person. I like a variety of people because, you learn about different cultures, languages and it makes you a more educated person. Accepting different races and social classes shape the world we live in today. Our country is unique and stands out as to other places. However most of that did not seem to matter because I was bullied for being black in a school with the majority of white people. In high school people would say to me “You only have white friends.. you wish you were white. The students would say to me, “You talk like a white person.” I can now see the connections from racism in the past and present. I hope that one day racism is completely
