What is reflection? That was the first question that popped into my head the first time we had to write a cover letter for the Fighting the Monster paper. The art of reflecting on ones thoughts or their means of writing is rather difficult. As I took on the first reflection, I struggled on trying to make it coherent and not just about how I viewed the project. I wanted to go deeper into why and how I felt when I wrote it. Eventually, I got the hang of it and ended up writing a good reflection so when we were assigned this final reflection on the class, I knew how I would go about it and what I would struggle with. Every assignment during this course was used to challenge us and to look at writing in a different manner. The proposal was a type of paper that I had never encountered and did not know how to write. It was a paper that really made me think and discovered why my topic was even relevant. I realized that I had to find the deeper argument within my topic and to actually find research that backed up my argument. I enjoyed discovering my argument in my topic and finding evidence due to the type of critical thinking I needed. I enjoy looking deeper into a topic and understanding the evidence. I found this paper to be beneficial to how I would begin the following papers to come. The next paper was the fighting the monster.
