These average men desperately try to impress Melena. One night the average men line up in front of Melena for a “surprise.” Male models start walking through the door, as the average men watch Melena smile and blush at these male models, not only do these average men feel humiliated, their self esteem lowers drastically. As I thought about who my last interview should be with, I thought that if I interviewed an adult I could get a different view on this topic. I chose my Dad, Richard Bidding. As I asked him the last question, “Why has Reality TV became to popular?” He responded with, “ People find it fascinating to watch real individuals doing real life things, instead of watching people play characters in a fantasy sitcom world.” In the article Why America Loves Reality TV by Steven Reiss states, “Reality TV allows Americans to fantasize about gaining status through automatic fame. Ordinary people can watch the shows, see people like themselves and imagine that they too could become celebrities by being on television.” That is why people cannot get enough of Reality TV. People will never get enough of watching other normals people 's
