What Is Ralph's View Of Civilization In Lord Of The Flies

In the novel “Lord of the Flies” by William Golding, the two main characters Ralph and Jack have different views of civilization. Jack believes that his group should be hunters and that violence is the answer to surviving on the island. While Ralph believes in making shelter, behaving, and trying to get off the island as soon as possible. To show power and leadership, Ralph and a character named Piggy found a conch and whoever holds possession of it either has the floor to talk or mainly is the leader. You’re able to see how Ralph and Jack are different at being in charge. I believe that Ralph was the better leader.
The violence in the novel originates from Jack. Ralph is very kind and collective and wouldn’t hurt a fly. In the beginning of
