When Victoria was 18 years old, she was coronated.
Economic and industrail growth in one of Britain’s best eras is linked with the Queen’s empire. A common statement is that the sun is always shining at some place that belongs to the queen to show how massive her empire was.

The idea to have a marriage involving a royal member of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, (Prince Albert) along with the UK’s Queen Victoria was devised by Belgium’s King Leopold the first.
At St. James’s Palace in the Chapel Royal, the marriage of Prince Albert and QUeen VIctoria took place, exactly as King Leopold 1 (both the bride and the groom’s uncle) desired.
