There are African American churches, where very seldom does a white person ever attend. In the same manner, there are white churches where very seldom do African Americans ever attend. This may be because they don’t like the idea, or it may be because there church family does not make them feel home.
Racism has been used to encourage fear and hatred (“Racism” 1). There are many people that are seen that ‘claim their heritage.’ They feel that racism and slavery should still be around. Usually, these are the people whose families were raised at a time when they could have slaves on the farm. These people pass down their racism from one generation to the next.
