I would also kinda respawn mad at the person I would also make sure there were so they will not say something like what they said ever again
Conclusion

There is too many things wrong with racism and just for one to make a racist comment makes it ten times worse. I could of picked the topic pollution but i think racism is way more important. The year 2016 seems to be the year that I noticed more and more racism, just like the police killing that just showed up on the news I bet they would not do that to a white guy. But for the black guy he even had his hands up but the policies still killed him.

Rebuttal

Why is racism so bad it's not right to talk about someone's race and make jokes about it and it's not right to say mean things about someone's race. Some people have no respect and they have no idea what it's like to be the one the race the other person is and just for the other person to make a racist comment makes everything way worse. It's not right to make a joke up about someone's race

Our society is like a statue, they both need the proper structure needed in order to keep it steady, but when one piece does not fit, then they will both topple down. Although statues may not relate to the problem, racism can relate to the one piece that does not fit, and this problem is explained in the articles " Black Men In Public Spaces", by Brent Staples, and " Is Everyone A Little Bit Racist" , by Nicolas Kristof. These articles dive into the topic of how racism affects everyday lives and how detrimental it is to the society and the people within. Also, it shows the unfortunate story of a victim of racism. Racism has turned our society into one full of hate and discrimination based of skin color and cultural beliefs. Unfortunately, discrimination has done more than just separate individuals socially it has also divided them into high and low economic classes. We have created a society in which people who are born into lower classes are unable to climb the social ladder and reach an elite economic status. Our society has made it almost impossible for those who are not in power to ever reach such a position. We have created a society in which those who are suffering will continue to suffer and be looked at as a having no value or ability to contribute to the success of the economy and structure of society.…

Day in and day out I have seen racism on the news and on the streets. One day while my mom, a black female, was at work a person left picked cotton at her station. This is just one example, in my life, on how racism is still in America and after hundreds of years, have no plans to go anywhere. Today, minorities in America are dying by the people who are supposed to protect us. Racism is still prevalent in America today because people still mistreat and stereotype Muslims, there's a huge racial gap in prisons, and police brutality, on people of color, is still on the rise.…
