By understanding, I mean a more open to other ideas and ethnicities. I believe this because they will constantly disagree with those people who have a different opinion as they do. I believe the group does not fit into a society in which they practice democracy. This is because in a democracy the rights of the individual are stressed, with a white supremacist group, they will always believe their rights outweigh the rights of a minority. As shown in the movie, it is clear they believe higher of themselves than those in a minority, and when their neighborhood was more populated with whites they were “happy”. But after minorities started to move in, and they tried to scare them off yet again, the minorities fought back in which this got Danny killed at the end of the movie. Although he was just practicing what he believed, he was too open about it and it inevitably got him shot.
