Even if the situation is as worse as it can get, there 0is always that voice in the back of our head saying to suck it up, smile and pretend everything is okay. People typically don 't want to be surrounded by negative vibes from other people since their moods can be contagious so we learn to mask our problems and keep a positive attitude. In “Who Moved My Cheese” we have two sets of characters that have different attitudes. We have two "littlepeople", Hem and Haw, who aren 't prepared for change and two mice, Sniff and Scurry, who are prepared for change. When they Sniff and Scurry realize that their cheese supply is reducing, they are mentally ready to go out into the maze and look for another supply. They end up finding a bigger amount of cheese after searching through the maze.When the cheese is finally gone, Hem and Haw do not know what to do. Instead of using that obstacle to go find something else in store, they grieve and go home hungry. I can 't remember the last time someone was happy about being surrounded by negative people. People with more positive attitudes are usually happier, a lot more cheerful, and are really a blast to be around. While people who are more negative tend to be upset very frequently and aren 't really much fun. One thing I will always remember is when one of my closest friends went through a break up. She was constantly quiet and upset and didn 't want to do anything else in her life. She basically gave up. All her friends, including me, were there to try to cheer her up and make her realize that things weren 't as bad as she was making them. After weeks then months of this, it became very apparent that whenever she was around us, we all had this very negative and depressed attitude and it was really hard to find something enjoyable to do with that person. After she got over the break up and realized that being positive and moving on was best then things changed, we were all happy around each other and there was never a dull moment. People are much more likely to want to be around positive
