Physical therapists are the leaders in the rehabilitation that allows people with chronic conditions to return to productive lives. There are so many ways that PT has affected certain aspects and outcomes or situations. Such as needing to undergo surgery when it’s not necessary or helping people regain the ability to walk or continue to use certain muscles that may have been injured. Physical therapists can help patients with meniscal tears or even DDD (degenerative disk disease.)
