Everyone has a story and almost everyone wants to leave some sort of a legacy — to be remembered for something meaningful. Our legacy is part of ourselves that, will be left in the hearts and minds of others. Some people leave a positive and inspiring legacy while some people willingly or not, leave a negative one. Nobody wants their existence to be lost to time. And just like everyone I wants to be remembered for the love and kindness I shared that has all become too scarce in today’s world. I also want to be remembered for making an impact in the medical field for something unique whether it is for modifying a medicine or discovering something new; more so I want to be remembered for helping a person in need. And even though I want to be remembered for all those things, I still want to be able to look back upon myself someday and realize that I have lived a full life, truly fulfilling the meaning of life and not just surviving…

A legacy is your reputation, you build it up day by day so when you do leave or die everyone will remember you forever. Great legacies are hard to come by because one slip up here or there you have to start all over again. Sometimes if a slip up is bad enough there is no fixing your legacy. Like most people I hope my legacy will be of importance and make people want to be just like me and follow in my footsteps.…

The community started his drive to create a healthier soda. He also left behind the drive to help the community. All of his jobs related some how to the people, for example he was the lieutenant of the NC naval Militia, an active shriner, and the recorder of the Sudan Temple.…

Life sucks. It’s fact. Things happen, we don’t like it. But as my mother told me one time, “It’s how you react to the things that suck in life that determines whether you’ll be happy or sad.” We can’t blame it on other people. Unless of course, that girl from 2nd grade threw a book in your face. Then yes, you can blame it on other people. So when I was asked what I wanted my legacy to be, about a million cliche things came into my head. But then I decided, I knew exactly what I wanted my legacy to be. A tootsie pop. I know, it sounds weird. But think about it. Almost everyone I know likes a tootsie pop. You lick your way down to the center, where there’s a piece of a tootsie roll waiting for you to enjoy. Keep that in mind.…

Everyone wants to leave behind a legacy; something people will remember them by. When we think of others that have passed on we often remember them for a certain quality they possessed. We also remember people for the type of person they were and what they took through life with them. Recently, I read “The Last Lecture” by author Randy Pausch. Paush has terminal cancer, and he tries to find a way to leave behind a legacy for his children and the world. Throughout the book Paush is able to connect with the reader and inspire them to leave behind their own legacy. The legacy that I want to leave behind and want people to remember me by is leading, not following, using time wisely, and following passions.…

Future generations I would wish you to be more openminded and not to be afraid to take a stand, to leave your mark in the world in a positive way. To speak up when you see something wrong that you don’t like, to not be afraid to give your opinion even if other don’t like the same way as you. To not change your morals because of what people say but to value your morals because they represent you and the person you want to become. To persuade them to follow their American dream even if people say it’s impossible, to not give up because everything is possible if they just believe and put in the hard work and effort in making…

While feeling concerned on helping my parents I began to also feel the need to help others. This is when I decided to pursue my career as a nurse. I have gained the knowledge, belief and passion to advance in my career from a student nurse to become a registered nurse.…
