On the first day of English 102 class I sat down in a chair, I was nervous and worried I wouldn’t make any friends. I look over and I see a girl that sat next to me, we both gave a little smile at each other then went along with our business. Keondrane’ and I talked that first day, my first impression was this girl is shy like me. Keondrane’ is short, 5’0, she has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. She is shy and quiet when you first meet her, but as you get to know her she is a high-spirited girl. She and I talked more and more each time we had English 102 class. I got to know her on a slightly personal level. Then it came time for Ms. Marr to pick who our partners were for our writing assignment. I hoped I was not partners anyone that …show more content…
They call and text Destiny to see where she is at, but there was no answer. The girls go back to the party to find Destiny, they ask people who were at the party if they had seen her, but no one did. Keondrane’ and Kei’Amber chose to leave Destiny and go back to their house, hopefully, she would show up in the morning. The girls are halfway home and are furious at the fact that Destiny is nowhere to be found. Kei’Amber hears her phone going off and when she looks at her phone sees that the call is from the police station. Both of the girls were confused, because they left the party before the cops started arresting people. Kei’Amber answers her phone and puts it on speaker, they hear Destiny crying. The girls confused, asked Destiny what happened and why is she at the police station. Keondrane’ told me what happened was that Destiny decided to leave the party to go to some guy’s house to hang out. According to Destiny’s story, people were talking outside by a fire when a gang of guys showed up. Destiny explained that the gang of guys wanted to fight and were not leaving until they got to fight someone. The man Destiny was with decided to be the one to fight the other guy. Both of the guys faced each other and the fight started, but the other guy was losing so he pulled out a gun. Everyone ran in a panic towards the house, while people were running somebody called the …show more content…
Keondrane’ said, Steven told her, “I am disappointed in you “nay nay” which was her nickname at the time. Keondrane’ explained that Steven had left his prom early because he was not feeling well. When he got to the house he woke up their mom, and went to check on the girls, which is when they realized they were not there. I asked Keondrane’ how she felt when she got caught, and she said to me it was the worst feeling disappointing my mom like that. She said my mom did not speak to me after that incident, and she never trusted me

The flow of each sentence was choppy and that made it difficult for anyone reading this paper get into the essay; therefore, I need to start including transitional words, phrase, or sentence so the reader and I can easily read my essay faster and with ease. Another thing that I would change is the thesis that I made.…

For the first five years of elementary school, I attended the small school located at the back of our church’s property. Enrollment ranged from about 10-15 students in 1st through 8th grade. The last three years of my grade school experience were spent attending Lodi Seventh-day Adventist Elementary. This school went from kindergarten to 8th grade and fed into Lodi Academy, so in all, kindergarten through 12th grade! I came from a small, two-room school, and seeing as I was not very accustomed to being with such a large body of students, suddenly becoming immersed in a class with more students than that of my entire old school was definitely intriguing!…
