Just after graduating high school at seventeen, my brothers and I began to live on our own. I picked up a full time job at Vons grocery store in Redlands because I had to pay rent and for my own necessities. Although my brothers and I are close, we did for ourselves individually. So I walked to and from work until school began. Our student Id cards allowed me to catch the bus for free every day, which was very convenient for me. I went to school in the mornings and worked during the evenings and night to get to work. I usually would get off or work around 11 …show more content…
Every now and again I had bronchitis as well, but one thing I loved about going to the hospital is that the nurses always comforted me. Becoming a nurse was something I was curious about doing but I realized that I genuinely care about the wellness of others and would love to work in an environment where I could make someone’s day or help them live I’ve been helped. I have not had much experience in the health care field, but due to my circumstances I only volunteered through the college majority of the time. Redlands Community hospital allowed me to volunteer in the Labor and Delivery department as well. Volunteering at the hospital allowed me to observe the environment and talk to nurses about anything I had questions about. I finally graduated from Crafton with two associate degrees! The first one in Health Sciences and the second one in Multiple Science. I have come so far and now I am fully excited to get into a nursing program and receive my bachelor’s degree in nursing. I can then work on my future goals and become a non-profit organization and help those who do not have nor could afford

I admire these accomplishments of course, but I also have a few achievements of my own. In band, I have made the All-District Honor Band every year I have tried out, this past year I passed on to the second round of state, and I made a one, which is the highest score, on my snare solo and passed on to state. These are not all of the accomplishments I have made in band, nor are any of these the accomplishment that I am most proud of.
