There are “VARK type one learners who are more flexible in their approach; they use any modality as the situation requires. However, the VARK type two learners rely on engaging all four modalities during the learning process” (VARK Learn Limited, 2016). Interestingly, several studies have identified that the largest number of their participants were multimodal learners. The Kinesthetic Learner
Additionally, there is the kinesthetic modality which refers to learning through involvement. These individuals find learning easier by “literally doing something with their hands, other parts of the body, or just by moving around” (Institute for Learning Styles, n.d.). However, some of the disadvantages are “the inability to sit still during lectures and poor listening skills” (Institute for Learning Styles, n.d.). Of course, it can be derived that sharing information with others through dialogue is not a preferred choice of communication.
The Aural/ Auditory
