The lyrics of the song are tragic in the way of being about self-consummation of the girl always worrying about her beauty, fate in the relationship not lasting with a hurtful companion, and release of the girl hopefully one day finding her true self and being okay with that. The lyrics also deal with dramatic illusion by having an uncertain destiny with the girl finding her beauty, and can be a little intense by saying the girl was more confident before the relationship or even before what other people thought. Based on those, this song is incongruent, meaning the controversial message is made more acceptable and the tranquility of the musicality helps that work
