In the book, “The Hobbit” by J.R.R Tolkien, a short Hobbit named Bilbo Baggins, had a very ordinary life and strayed away from adventure. A wizard, Gandalf, and a tremendous amount of dwarves came to Bagginses hole and hatched a plan to take down a dragon named Smaug. After reading a little more of this book, I predicted that Mr. Baggins will go on this quest and this adventure will change Mr. Bagginses lifestyle forever.
My first prediction is, that Mr. Baggins will go on this adventure. I think of this due to the fact that while the dwarves hatch the plan to take down the dragon that is guarding the dwarves kingdom, Mr. Baggins always becomes interested in what they’re talking and gets excited after hearing the plan. While going on an adventure is unnaturally for Mr. Baggins, I think he still likes the opportunity and idea of taking back a Kingdom that was once the dwarves. “It seems a great big hole to me,” squeaked Bilbo (who had no experience of dragons and only of hobbit-holes). I think that since it is not natural for a Baggins to go on an exciting and dangerous adventure, and still Bilbo Baggins is going anyway, adventures and being close to death scenarios will become his second nature due to the fact that he will be gone for so long and since he never tried anything else than his ordinary lifestyle, maybe he might like the new setting. After all of this, even the calm, slow paced hobbit-hole he lives in might become unnatural. “The Bagginses had lived in the neighborhood of The Hill for time out of mind, and people considered them very respectable, not only because most of them were rich, but also because they never had any adventures or did anything unexpected:” (Pg.
