His name was Micheal until his dad changed it to Martin when he was 5. He lived with a happy family in a peaceful neighborhood with his 1 older sister and 1 younger brother. Martin went to segregated schools all his life. He was always the top student in his class and skipped 2 grades! He graduated high school at 15 and went to Morehouse College and finished at Boston University. While in Boston, Martin met Coretta Scott who studied to be a singer, and married her on June 18, 1953.
