Discrimination and racism is of many social injustices that people are dealing with in this day in age. Discrimination is the most idiotic and arrogant thing you can ever do as a person. Usually the people who are discriminated against are minorities, however, any person can be a victim of social injustice. Some may think that social injustice is non-existent, however, I would like to bring the situation into focus and show that It is still in existence and has been observed in the past and now in the current year. People living in Martin Luther King's era were getting discriminated against. Now we have a black president, Barack Obama, and he’s getting some hate. People are just going with the norm and they think it’s the “cool thing” to do now a days. No matter what we say or what we do, social injustice will never stop. …show more content…
He lead a movement for anti-racism to stop social injustice. He fought for what he believed in a never gave up on his dream. King was arrested 30 times in a span of 10 years, he was never going to give up on his dream till he helped millions. King celebrated his Convictions because he knew he was fighting social injustice. King stated “Ordinarily, a person leaving a courtroom with a conviction behind him would wear a somber face. But I left with a smile. I knew that I was a convicted criminal, but I was proud of my crime” (Remembering Martin Luther King, JR). King never gave up on his dream of making everyone equal and ending discrimination against African
