What Is Macbeth Evil

During the 1600’s , England was a large rural area rich in farmers producing their own crops. The country at the time was steadily getting richer and its population was increasing as well. Trade was becoming popular and industries were producing goods ( bricks, iron, coal mining ,& glass) rapidly. People saw that trade was an increasingly important part of the country's wealth so merchants became more respected. However political power and influence was held by rich landowners. Monarchs came to power while nobles and parliament feared the amount of power growing in the England monarchy. Shakespearean Tragedy is an example of the struggle between good and evil. In response, the king orders for the Thane of Cawdor to be executed and decided to give the title of Cawdor to Macbeth.Later on, Macbeth and Banquo are in the presence of three witches who then greet Macbeth as Thane of Cawdor and soon to become king. The greeting frightens him while Banquo ponders on what his future may hold. After a while, Duncan is eager to know whether the original Thane of Cawdor has been killed yet so that he can proclaim Macbeth as the new one and make his son,Malcolm the heir to the throne of Scotland. Meanwhile, Lady Macbeth is informed about The king's expected visitation and plans out the king’s murder while Macbeth is contemplating on the decision to kill him. Macbeth sees a floating bloody dagger ( message from the weird sisters ) signifying him to perform the task of murdering the king while he’s asleep. Once Macbeth has killed the king , Lady Macbeth plants the bloody daggers on the drunken bodyguards herself.
