What Is Kaylie's The Joy Of Roller Coasters: A Narrative Fiction

The heat was unbearable. The scent of corn dogs and the sound of children screaming filled the atmosphere. It was around the middle of June, so the blaring sun hit me as I walked along Fun Times Amusement Park. My only goal was to have fun and make good memories with my closest friends. It was about 9:00 AM and they had just pulled in.
“Hey! Autumn what’s up” said Kaylie.
Kaylie walked up to me; her hair was woven into braids for the occasion. Then, my other two friends Shelley and Jasmine arrived. They both were fun and always put a smile on my face. Now that they had all arrived the fun was just about to begin.
“Hey guys!” said Shelley.
“Yay, today is going to be so fun!” said Jasmine.
I was very excited to be there and have a good time,

“Yeah, it will be fun” Kaylie added, as she scanned the crowd looking for any long lines that would hold us back from riding it.
“Yeah! Let’s do it” Shelley said.
I thought it over. I wasn’t positive whether I should ride it or not, but my friends encouraged me to, so I decided to give it a try. The roller coaster was very big and I was definitely terrified. Moments later I found myself and my friends seated in the roller coaster. Fortunately, four people could be in one seat so I would get to ride with my friends at my side. I felt my heart drop just looking at the view while I was sitting on the roller coaster. From the other side of the amusement park, I could hear kids screaming and that reminded me how terrifying the roller coaster was.
“It’s going to be okay” Jasmine said, who also had an unsteady tone lingering in her voice.
Even though all my friends agreed that it would be okay, I still felt the feeling of fear inside of me. Before I could count to ten, the roller coaster had taken its course and

As the roller coaster was going I noticed something but I was too distracted to be circumspect of it. I think my friends noticed it too but they were too focused on the thrilling moment. The sky had a light shade of gray but I figured it was just extra pollution in the air. Then, it happened. It happened so quickly I couldn’t believe it.
“Why is the roller coaster trembling!” Kaylie yelled.
“This is not okay!” Screamed Jasmine, who had tears forming in her eyes.
“Please God, don’t let me die…” Shelley whispered under her breath.
The roller coaster had taken a toll and it trembled and so did the whole set of tracks. As I looked around the air it seemed more gray and dusty. The roller coaster seemed as if it were hit by something. In the corner of my eye, I saw a small dust storm forming. Thoughts creped in the back of my mind, was it the fear getting in the way of my thoughts or was something forging?
“Oh my gosh, this is not happening!” Cried Jasmine.
“Why a tornado while we are on a roller coaster!” Screamed

A few years ago, on a class trip, my friends had asked me to ride at least one roller coaster. It was not a large roller coaster, but it made me queasy just looking at it. I was confident that I would be able to go on and enjoy the experience. My confidence quickly evaporated when we began climbing up the roller coaster’s first hill. The ride dropped, and I was screaming so loudly that I could only hear myself.…

Well I had gone to Six Flags and when I had got there I was so anxious to get on every ride in Six Flags but then I had heard a person on the Goliath scream ”stop the ride” it was so funny and scary at the same time. The Mind Bender had so many circles that go round and round.…

The anticipation on the line was killing me. I knew if this line would slowly drag me along any longer I would chicken out and regret not going on the ride. All I could watch was the bright green car speeding down the track faster than a gazelle being chased by a hawk. The bright yellow sun against the light blue sky was blinding me, making the car go out of view for a moment, then seeing it already at the top. The only thing that I could think of was the giant, green, vertical drop that I was about to confront.…

The rumbling of the roller coaster was causing me to quiver. A cold sweat coated my forehead, so I lifted my trembling hand to my face and wiped the salty water away. Another half hour had passed and we’d made decent progress in the line. In probably about 5 more loads of people we would be boarding. We had maybe 15 minutes…

So this meant that my brother and sister got to sit in the very front of the roller coaster car, and my dad and I were right behind them. When we got in, it seemed like no time had passed from when we got in the line, to when we were seated in the ride getting ready for a moment that I would never forget. We waited for about 30 seconds for the workers to make sure everybody was strapped in safely. When the carts then started down this tiny slope to a straight away over the water. I was a mix of scared and excited for the ride.…

After the attendants strapped everyone in, they did their whole spiel on how we were going to have a great time, but the words muddled in my mind as I was more focused on breathing. The car moved onward and screeched at us as if in warning. Then suddenly the car stopped, I’m pretty sure just to spite us.…
