Through closure bluffs, one nation can put a non-serious offer on the plate in hopes that the other nation will take the chance and fold over early because of a small threat which leads to peace all due to lack of information on one end. Knowledge bluffing refers to when one side can say they’ve heard certain accusations against the other party in efforts to scare them to convince them to fold over their ways. While justice bluffing is when one party pretends to be extremely discontent and angry with the other side before things even begin to make their opposition feel bad and try to make things fair with the angry side when settlements haven’t even started. For example, when tensions are rising between two countries, certain steps are taken within the country to avoid popular vote supporting war between the two countries. With a bargain tool or incentive for them not to go to war, or disadvantages of going to war are discussed, this can heavily influence the final decision of whether or not to go to war. This can also be done with having peace within the country. Through a certain amount of words or incentive, anyone can be convinced to change their decisions or initial mentality and opinion towards something. The best interest of the leaders of a country is to have representatives that are able to convince the people using forms of media such as propaganda and bargaining tools that can influence decisions whether or not to have war or peace.
