Humanistic therapy is a form of therapy that emphasizes the good in people and works to help clients achieve their full potential. Humanistic therapies typically focus on where the person is in life now as opposed to their pass. These session follow a non-direct approach, with lets the client take the lead in the sessions. With humanistic therapy it is believed that the answer lay within the client and it is the job of the therapist to build a relationship with the client and to provide a safe environment for self-exploration.
