Some traffickers try to make is seem casual in places like farms, factories, restaurants, and homes. One may ask if its in a casual place then why don 't the victims say anything?. Victims can 't say anything to anyone because they are threatened and abused. Some are even killed just to show other victims what would happen if they did say anything. ("24-7 Prayer Room Charlotte, NC." Human Trafficking.) Trafficking happens all over the world and one of those places is North Carolina. “North Carolina is one of the top ten human trafficking nationally.” and it also “ranked the top 8th most state for human trafficking.” The reason for this is because of the highways we have, one of the highways that traffickers love the most is highway 195 because it goes from Miami Florida to fredericton Canada. Traffickers use the highways to get their victims and transport them. But the highway is not the only way trafficker get their victims. The definition of slavery similarly also falls under that of human trafficking and both overlap in their meanings, however the means of labour usually differentiates both. From a global perspective on the position of human trafficking and forced labour, the lesser developed countries contain the most of those situations. Various third world countries such as India, China, Russia, Africa, some regions in South East Asia and Eastern Europe are heavily affected by the devastatingly large crimes against humanity of human trafficking…

It seems as people in this practice become romantically involved with each other with later the trafficker forcing them into prostitution. This is very frustrating to me because, as a female, how can you ever know which male is a trafficker or not? If a male is covering it up and earning your trust, you will never have a clue that he has the intentions of forcing you into prostitution. This is scary in any situation for females because this can happen anywhere, any place, or any…
