What Is Harriet Tubman A Hero

Harriet Tubman was a slave who did things others couldn’t do. That was come up with the Underground Railroad and lead others to safety. It took courage and lots of ups and downs to get her and all the other slaves to freedom successfully. There are many different ways her success even happened. In the article “Leaders of the Civil War Era: Harriet Tubman”,it talks about how her success even helped with things political. She was asked to join Quaker volunteers to help free slaves. She even became a spy to complete her work further. It really did support freeing the slaves more than it already did. In the article “The Woman Called Moses”, it states more of the personal reasons why Harriet wanted to become such a hero for others.
