I didn’t know a lot about gods but when my friend said he was going to type about Hades I thought it was my best shot. When i started my research on Hades, I was surprised to find him of the souls. To me Hades sounded like a nice and kind name, but he isn’t so nice. But after all of my project i did learn a lot about Hades and am glad that I know a little more about greek gods. What i'm surprised about is that, even though Hades isn’t cruel, he still kidnapped his wife. I still will continue to remember about and tell about Hades throughout my

The association with the dead may be the cause of the label evil around him, but for the most part, I found a god like Zeus to wreck havoc and commit evil far more than Hades did. Finding out some of the myths surrounding Hades like with Hercules and Persephone gave me a new way to look at him. From looking at the different gods studied in this course, I have to say that Hades has won being my favorite. Before taking this course, I had an interest in most of the gods and goddesses, especially Athena. I thought she was this very intricate character able to be the command in the strategy of war as compared to the violence that the god, Ares, incited through war.…

One important reason why Hades would be good at the principal career is because he can be assertive. One of Hades main personalities is being assertive. He is a good ruler of the underworld and is very harsh to souls trying to escape the underworld and he makes sure everything goes right in the underworld. “He presided over funeral rites and defended the right of the dead to due burial” (Aaron J ). Clearly, this demonstrates how assertive Hades can be and how he can control things when he wants to, which is an important asset for being a principal.…

The underworld was not just a place for evil people, but all mortals after they died. It consisted of many different parts, some being heavenly and peaceful like the Elysian Fields, some were just full of nothingness like Asphodel Meadows, and others were dreadful and terrible like Tartarus (Greek Legends and Myths). Hades himself was also not necessarily evil. He was usually shown as a very unyielding and unforgiving person, not being swayed by prayer and sacrifice (Greek Gods & Goddesses).
