In the story, there were 4 main settings mentioned in the story. In the 1st voyage, when Gulliver's ship is wrecked, he ends up on a beach, known as the Land of Liliput. You guessed it, the land of small people. Gulliver then lands on the coast of the Great Tartary on the 2nd voyage. When he wanders away from the English landing party, he is captured by the Brobdingnagian court. In the 3rd voyage, on his voyage to Laputa, he discovers a flying island, and fortunately, is rescued by the flying island after his ship was being attacked by pirates. Laputa was basically a kingdom devoted to the arts of music and mathematics but unable to use them for practical ends. Lastly, Gulliver sails to a country governed by smart horses. Humans are known to be called "Yahoo"s here (Also known as animals).

"Gulliver's Travels is often seen as an idictment of humanity as the dominant civilized and intelligent species on earth. Although Swift spends much of the book satirized specifically-English culture by the fourth book, he is viciously attacking almost every convention of human society." Obviously, he got this message through the book itself. However, over the years, we have improved it (as seen in the present movie version). Or, the opposite of improvement, as you may call it. The message is slowly hiding away from the public, to the fact that we can't understand anything anymore but the laughs and the comedy the movie itself
