Global warming has been around for a long time and in the most recent time it has become a little problem that can turn into a serious problem. We need to address global warming and the problems now to ensure the future. Also global warming is just going to keep getting worse and worse if we don 't take the Appropriate steps now. Global warming is not a joke nor a myth it is a serious problem that needs to be discussed.
Global warming is affecting us by making our climate Change significantly. Global warming happens to make the world a little warmer and it has thrown off our climates and our seasons. Our Climate temperatures tend to increase because of greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gas trap heat and make the world warmer and a large amount

Ben Bova himself writes, “Migrating Animals head north earlier because of spring temperatures are arriving weeks earlier in the year. Plants blossom weeks earlier too. And plants and animals species are expanding their habits northward because of generally warmer temperatures”.(Bova 410) Bova is saying here is that global warming changing the temperatures has caused animals to leave their habitats sooner and plants to to blossom sooner than ever. One long term effect is glaciers, glaciers are are slowly melting away. If global warming keeps warming the glaciers, soon there will be no glaciers in the future causing the sea level to rise. Another long term affect is polar bears are drowning. polar bears are drowning because they have to swim further to get to a floating piece of ice. The long term effects of this means the possibility of extinction for polar bears. Lastly, Global warm affects our health, heat waves can cause heat strokes and air pollution can cause allergies and asthma. The Natural Resources Defense Council states, ”rise in average temperature will have far-reaching effects on the earth 's climate patterns and on all living things. Many of these changes have already begun”(NRDC). Furthermore, as global warming continues earth will lose some of its most important and beautiful things. The future of global warm is very …show more content…
If changes don 't occur human activity affecting global warm, human activity will make it from bad to worse. David J. Rothkopf states “A shift away from dirty old fuels is the only path toward reducing several of the greatest security threats the planet faces, but we must carefully and avoid letting our optimism run away with us”(Rothkopf 419). To take case in point, we need to ditch fossil fuels and move to something cleaner. But we can 't let our will to be open minded about changing our ways for global warming. A few things that can reduce the human activity cause of global warming are driving less. driving less means few emissions coming out of your vehicle, also driving less saves money on gas. try taking public transportation, ride a bike or even carpool. Another thing you can do to reduce global warming is plain and simple, plant a few trees. Trees take carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere and put oxygen in the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas mainly released from human activity. More trees means less carbon dioxide which equals a decrease in global warming produced by humans. Equally important, the three R’s, Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. yes it is true recycling does in fact save the world and reduce global warming. Recycling reduce greenhouse gases and emission from places like landfills. lastly, educate friends, family and people

There are many things wrong with the world today. Most of them are too big and so complex that they are beyond our control. However, there is one specific thing that is in our control. We hear about global warming all the time. Everybody always talks about global warming as the scary thing that melts ice and hurts the polar bears. Well guess what? Global warming hurts us too. A video by PBS said, “We are part of the cycle, we don’t control it, and what we do to harm it harms us” (2005). Not only is global warming hurting the polar bears, it is hurting humans as well. Excess greenhouse gases—specifically carbon dioxide—that are going into the air cause the planet to become warmer. This warming can cause dramatic climate…

First, we have to look at the problem before we can describe the solution. Global warming has been an issue since the beginning of the industrial revolution. “In 1886 greenhouse gasses were discovered and Swedish chemist Svante Arrhenius concluded that industrial-age coal burning will enhance the natural greenhouse effect.” (Biodegradable Products, Positive Impact on the Eco-System) Over the next 50 years we unlock more answers about global warming as the population rises rapidly. There was a global drop in temperature around the 1960’s and people thought we were going to go into the next ice age, but the temperature quickly rose again, more rapidly than ever in the 1970’s.…

Scientists and people alone all have different opinions on global warming, but, overall, we can’t ignore the facts that the changes are minor and nearly nonexistent. The topic of Global Warming is important because we only have one planet Earth and we need to learn how to treat it properly before it becomes an actual problem that would be more complicated to address. This could affect us all as humans and living things inhabiting the Earth unless we make a…

In Leonardo Dicaprio’s speech he said, “A world that we collectively felt in 2015 as the hottest year in recorded history. Our production needed to move to the southern tip of this planet just to be able to find snow. Climate change is real, it is happening right now. It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species, and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating.” Climate change may not be the biggest issue in the world, but it is a problem and is most definitely real and is affecting people and animals and if nothing is done now we will have an even bigger problem in the future. I’m going to tell you about how climate change affects animals and what it is.…

Global warming is causing serious damages to Earth. If we are not careful, these damages could become difficult to reverse if we do not act now. These damages to our ecosystem include, but are not limited to: rising sea levels, warming oceans, longer and more intense droughts which threaten crops, wildlife, and freshwater supplies. Global warming is very real and is effecting or planet’s diversity. Carbon dioxide from coal burning is a large contributor to global warming. Power generation is responsible for 23 billion tons every year, 700 tons every second. (Effects of Climate Change). Also, coal burning produces sulfur dioxide and acid rain. (Dowdey). If you ever wanted to see polar bears in the wild, your time is running out. Global warming is causing polar bears, and many other species to go extinct. Global warming, also known as climate change, is the rising of the Earth’s temperature due to greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide, getting trapped in the atmosphere. When the gases can not leave the atmosphere, they absorb radiation and sunlight from the sun and make the atmosphere warmer. Global warming is being caused by humans and something should be done about it. The reason global warming is so prevalent is because people do not know they are hurting the environment and some people do not believe it is real. There will be consequences to everyone if nothing is done about it.…

According to, Global Warming and Climate Change, many animals die due to the changes in their environment, and may even become extinct. According to, 9 Animals That are Feeling The Impact of Climate Change, one example of the death of animals due to Global Warming, is the rapid speed of the melting ice, which is the main cause of the dramatic drops in the polar bear population. According to, Global Warming and Climate Change, another effect of Global Warming is when temperatures rise, which causes some areas around the world to experience natural disasters such as droughts, heat waves, and wildfires. According to, 5 Ways Climate Change is Affecting Our Ocean, one example of the rising temperatures caused by Global Warming is when coral reef expert, Tom Goreau payed attention to the mass coral dying and found that it was probably caused by the warm temperatures, related to climate change or Global Warming. According to, Global Warming and Climate Change, one last effect of Global Warming is when heat waves caused by Global Warming lead to more deaths due to excessive heat. Changes in the conditions of the air can also harm human health. According to, Rachael Rettner from 5 Ways Climate Change Will Affect Your Health, one example is when heat waves could combine with the development of pollution and cause heart heart problems for human’s health. There are many effects of Global Warming and they are not causing huge problems now, but…

Global warming since then generally define as a gradually increasing in temperature, which results in changing global climate permanently. Earth 's climate has been negatively influenced by many direct and indirect ways. Humans can severely damage the quality of climate. Most people are not aware that actions contribute to the decay of the Earth through time. Much research has been focused on the effects of global warming, as a direct result of the elevation of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, which originally from global industrialization and modernization. Consequently, a lot of evidence from various studies had strongly suggested the significance of global warming with multiple negative effects on environmental conditions and all ecosystems on Earth. In other words, human happens to destroy themselves through their actions toward the Earth accidentally. Recently, efforts have been made to help to prevent our global climate system from being worse. However, they are still insufficient because of many limitations.…

My view on global warming is that it exists. Everyone in the world needs to cut down on driving. Combustion engines create so much pollution that they are the number one reason for global warming. The greenhouse gases are affecting our atmosphere creating a way warmer Earth, which then has an impact on almost every living being. Another thing that we could do to help save the planet is conserve water. Fresh water is dropping lower and lower as sea levels rise higher and higher.…

One of the easiest way to mitigate climate change is to stop deforestation, meaning we should plant more trees than cutting them. Planting more trees reduces the amount of carbon dioxide present in the atmosphere. The other easy way to help reduce climate change is walk or bike to places rather than talking cars or public transportation. Transportation vehicles produces about 1.7 billion tons of carbon dioxide per year. Using renewable energy such as solar power and electric cars. Being energy efficient by using LED bulbs, turning off lights, T.V or computer when not using them. There were several solutions proposed to solve global warming. One of the proposal was to reduce the amount of fossil fuel to create electricity, instead use nuclear power plants to produce electricity since nuclear power emits little to no carbon dioxide. The other proposal was to use electric cars instead of gasoline powered cars since gasoline powered cars emits 1 billion tons of carbon dioxide per…
