Olivia Saracho examined the literacy developments approaches of Mexican-American children, and the influence that father involvement plays in the lives of children. The aim was to support families by looking at familism in Mexican-American families and factors that support a learning environment. Therefore, by examining father involvement in Mexican American families we can evaluate the transformation in the roles of fathers and further support families to ensure future success in children.
