Locus of control is defined as the “ is the degree to which people believe that they have control over the outcome of events in their lives, as opposed to external forces beyond their control” (Wikiepedia, 2017, para 1). A person that has an internal locus of control has accepted in their own ability to control themselves, along with, the outcome they wish to achieve and see their future in their own hands.
