In the article USA Today we have one author's opinion and interpretation of Donald Trump’s inaugural speech last Friday. The article claims that this was Donald Trump’s first time to address the voters who did not vote for him, which is at the up most correct. However, the outlook of the speech might not have been as bad as some are lead to believe unless you witnessed first hand on the television and made your own educated interpretation and assumption. Dictating on how someone, especially the President, will succeed or by not supporting him is a detrimental start for our country, throughout this essay I will simply talk about topics and key points for only you to make the decision if the speech was addressed as well as Donald Trump’s first …show more content…
Donald Trump addressed our nation and embraced everyone with such an appealing outlook on what the future of America holds for us as citizens of America. If Donald Trump sticks with his words at the inauguration, he should be able to accomplish a great deal in four years. One of the many hot debates is our military, having different things built overseas because it is less expensive. The people want everything back in America. So, in Donald Trump’s inauguration speech he exhibited some of those as he said “For many decades, we've enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry; subsidized the armies of other countries while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military; we've defended other nation's borders while refusing to defend our own; and spent trillions of dollars overseas while America's infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay (Donald Trump). Now, I hope we are looking up by this point and if not, hopefully you take in some of what his speech addressed and to agree with it. I do believe back in the first article of the USA Today, that I somewhat disagree with this article when the author states, “remarks Friday hardly laid the groundwork for successful action” (USA Today). I do believe and think it is safe to say that I thought Donald Trump’s speech was flawless and I can only pray that our country is in the right
