Following the same year Dodge played a gamble of bringing back its two iconic name plates as the concept designs were shown 3 years prior to 2008. The Dodge Charger returned as a sedan, the Challenger returned as a redesigned, modified, as well as modern version of its iconic 1970 model. This gamble paid off well for Dodge as well as Chrysler.
