To begin, the Capitol 2012 is a three dimensional architectural sculpture created by Deborah Aschheim. The Capitol 2012 was assembled by using an abundance of plastic, adhesive, and Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs). This three dimensional architectural sculpture took up a form that gives the suggestion of a familiar place. The texture of the plastic was designed with a fine and coarse matter. There were blue LEDs placed within the structure. The lights had an ability to transmit through the plastic. The lights also made the beautification of the building to be more noticeable.
