College Motivation
Becoming a doctor is my biggest motivation that helps me succeed in college. I am intrinsically ,and extrinsically motivated to become a doctor because I believe that is the best career you can have from going to college. I got more interested in becoming a doctor when I started getting Biology classes in school Biology ,specially anatomy, was my favorite subject in high school. I was one of the best students in the class. Although I didn’t like Chemistry ,but I have always tried my best to learn and get good grades in that class. My grandfather was a doctor, my two uncles and most of my cousins are doctors . I loved watching them helping the patients, giving prescription and being respected by so many people. I want to

It intrinsically motivates me to succeed in college. I want to have enough money to satisfy my needs and wants. I am tired of working for average rate and in places where I don’t like. Working in those places is very tiring, less respected. They don’t even pay well, I can barely meet my needs with that money. I fancy having a big, beautiful house, a nice car, and a husky. But I can’t have them with the part-time job that I am working on now. I want to work in a place where I receive more respect and money at the same time. Working in one of the best hospitals in the State and kind of being my own boss is my …show more content…
There are people who encouraged me, but also there are people who always want to see me fail. When I was in middle school, I had to change my school because many kids thought I had good grades just because my mom was a teacher in there. After I changed my school, and graduated from middle school with high grades they still had their reasons to put me down. I felt happy and proud of myself ,because I showed them that my good grades weren’t because of my mom, it was because of my hard work and talent. However, there are still people who want to see me fail , to be better than me and who think that I am not capable of doing well in college. Some of my cousins, Although they don 't say it directly, often like to show how they have good grades in college and they don’t think I can do that. It really makes me study hard and put my best effort in college. so at the end I can show them that with having financial stability and hard background I can still succeed. You know as they say “Do it for the people who want to see you fail.”

My Motivation: What motivates me the most to pursue a college degree is that I will be the first person in my family to receive one. My grandmother is the backbone behind this motivation because she was always making sure that academics came first in my life. There was rarely a day that I would come home and she would not ask me questions about my homework, asking what I learned in school, or even looked over my homework. As I got older, she made sure I was a part of a college prep program called AVID from 6th-12th grade and that definitely made a difference for me. It helped me understand the importance of continuing your education and how beneficial it can be to succeeding in life.…
